Happy Halloween. Today I heard on the radio that there’s some wackjob church in North Carolina hosting a book-burning party. And not just any books, but Bibles. Yes, anything that’s not the King James is SATANIC! (That link via Steve Benen.)
My kid is working on perfecting my own “WHAT STUPID CRAP DID SOMEONE JUST SAY ON THE INTERNETZ”-face — here he is practicing:

In keeping with the theme today, though, here he is again hoisting a pumpkin. We didn’t tell him or ask him to hoist it. We didn’t hand it to him. He just decided it needed hoisting. And then made a face because it was heavy, I’m guessing!
