- I’m very sad to read that Phil Agre is missing. Red Rock Eater, the curated links and writings mailing list that he authored, was essential reading in its heyday. Here’s his 2004 take on what’s wrong with conservatism. I’m sure I linked it at the time. Still relevant half a decade later.
- I’m a big fan of this negotiated homework ban this family worked out. From what I’m hearing homework is just over the top ridiculous these days. We’ll see if there’s any sanity back in the system by the time TLG starts school.
