But the new daycare emphasizes doing this task themselves, and then throwing the tissue away and washing hands. I noticed that none of the other kids were very good at doing it without a reminder, but Penny is very aware of when she needs to wipe/blow her nose so hopefully she'll pick up on it and start doing it herself. The only advantage I've been persuaded of is that *supposedly* it will mean many fewer illnesses in kindergarten and first grade, since that won't be his first exposure to a slew of virii. Here's hoping! And, apart from the ear infections that TLG seems prone to, he's in generally good spirits even with a cold. It's just that the constant runny nose is disgusting.
